The U.S. Energy Transition Conference is an independent, non-partisan convening that brings together federal, state and local policymakers, legislators, industry leaders, utilities, investors, innovators, academia and civil society to examine how the United States delivers secure, reliable and affordable energy while supporting long-term economic competitiveness.

Now in its 4th annual edition, the conference has become a trusted forum for practical, solutions-focused dialogue at the intersection of energy policy, infrastructure, technology and markets. The program reflects the real-world challenges facing decision-makers today, including rising electricity demand, grid constraints, permitting and delivery barriers, and the need to align energy systems with economic growth, resilience, and national security.

Rather than advocating for a single pathway, the conference creates space for open, constructive discussion across a broad range of perspectives. Sessions focus on delivery, trade-offs and implementation at scale, grounded in evidence-based policy and system-level thinking.

The conference maintains strong editorial independence. While supported by industry and institutional partners, all agenda setting, speaker selection and moderation is led by the organizing team to ensure balanced representation and credible discussion. Partners support the convening of dialogue, not the content of it.

DC Climate Week is not responsible for this event. It is organized by the organizing group, and being listed on the DCCW calendar is not an endorsement of content or partners.
