Kids Are the Best Climate Solutions!
Discussion with kids and YouTuber Robert!
Children are the most influential voices for change. Adults will listen to kids when they won't listen to anyone else. This event will invite children and their parents to find out what they can do to help stop climate change and make the world a better place and will include a free tree sapling and pollinator seeds that the children can plant at their home or in their community as well as a vegan snack!
About the Host: Robert is a 13 year old climate communicator. He has a youtube channel called Children's Climate Championship and he talks to children 12 and under, scientists and organizations around the world who are concerned about climate change and biodiversity loss and how we can all help. Last year Robert hosted "Are you Smarter than an 8th Grader" at the Inaugural TOCW. He's spoken at UN's COP 15, 16 and ECOSOC, WILD12 in South Dakota, and New York Climate Week.
Robert is thrilled to be joined by special guests For Our Kids Toronto who will be bringing a fun activity! The TPL says this is a great location with both parking and transit.
