​Join Thorncliffe Park Urban Farmers for a hands-on community gardening session rooted in climate action, food justice, and neighbourhood resilience.

​Together, we are transforming underutilized green space into productive urban farmland — restoring soil health, increasing biodiversity, reducing food insecurity, and strengthening local climate resilience.

​Participants will learn about regenerative growing practices, composting, pollinator-friendly planting, and how community-led climate solutions can create lasting environmental and social impact.

​No experience required. All are welcome. Come get your hands in the soil and be part of climate action at the local level.

​About the Host: Thorncliffe Park Urban Farmers (TPUF) is a grassroots, volunteer-led urban agriculture initiative based in Toronto. TPUF works to restore degraded green spaces into productive ecological gardens that increase biodiversity, improve soil health, and address food insecurity in high-density neighbourhood of Thorncliffe Park.

​Through community-led climate action, education, and regenerative growing practices, TPUF demonstrates how local food systems can strengthen climate resilience and environmental stewardship in urban communities.
