UK CBT x Oxford Blockchain Society XRPL Day
Oxford, ready to explore the XRP Ledger?
On 14 September, the UK Centre for Blockchain Technologies and Oxford Blockchain Society are bringing the XRP Ledger to the University of Oxford for an afternoon of blockchain, technical discussion, and new opportunities.
Whether you’re an Oxford student interested in blockchain, a researcher working on its applications, or an alumnus following developments in digital assets, this session is designed to take you beyond the headlines and into how XRPL actually works.
We’ll cover:
The fundamentals of the XRP Ledger
The technical architecture behind XRPL
Payments, bridging, and institutional finance
Introduction to AMM-based DEX
Efficiency and the developer ecosystem
Open Q&A and discussion with the community
We’re particularly keen to meet Oxford students and researchers interested in building, researching, or launching projects within the Ripple and XRPL ecosystem.
And there’s more.
Among attendees, we’ll hold a draw for two fully funded opportunities:
🇪🇸 1 fully funded trip to the European Blockchain Convention in Barcelona
🇸🇬 1 fully funded trip to TOKEN2049 Singapore
Both funded by the Oxford Blockchain Society.
Date: 14 September 2026
