AGi ~ Qualia Waves & Experiential Intelligence : A salon on a new path to machine general intelligence
WavePsi Framework Podcast: https://shorturl.at/Oi8wd
Contemporary AI systems are excellent mimics. They predict words, images, and code by extrapolating from massive data. But mimicry is not cognition. This salon presents a research program that reframes intelligence as experiential, rooted in perception, consequence, and continual learning—rather than as next-token agreement.
Most modern AI is mimetic, not cognitive. We outline an experiential architecture centered on Qualia Waves: a traveling search process whose access to awareness is regulated by glial-style saturation and gating. We then introduce a minimal, interpretable orchestrator that couples this perceptual engine to language and planning with tight, auditable bounds. The result is a loop where qualia become the state of a world model, driving action and learning under consequence. We propose measurable grounding metrics, demonstrations for continual learning, and safety mechanisms based on provenance and consent. This is a blueprint for machine general intelligence that learns from the world, not from text alone.
This is a salon, not a keynote. Expect a short formal talk followed by an open, academic discussion with whiteboard time, critique, and live prompts.
**Who this is for: **
Researchers and engineers in AI, neuroscience, robotics, HCI, and systems
Founders and product leaders exploring post-LLM architectures
Policy, safety, and governance practitioners seeking interpretable designs
Curious generalists with strong quantitative intuition
(No prior exposure to the work is required; an engineering mindset helps.)

What we will discuss:
The limits of mimetic AI Why current models excel at style transfer and weakly grounded reasoning, and where they systematically fail at world modeling, consequence, and corrigibility.
Qualia Waves: a perception-first engine How a propagating query interacts with local feature clusters; why astrocyte-like saturation acts as a temporal memory and gate; and how qualia amplitude can be used as an objective, multi-factor readout of perceptual vividness.
Minimal, auditable coupling to language The Perogative Intent Orchestrator: an explicit, bounded interface that lets a reasoning module (including an LLM) bias search without overriding the physics of perception. We will walk through focus injection, gate bias, and the intent bridge that maps concepts into the wave space.
From perception to action Using qualia vectors as the state for a world model and policy. How consequence-driven learning, adaptive time-to-live search, and hierarchical memory address continual learning and non-stationary environments.
Grounding and safety, operationalized New metrics for grounding efficiency and reality convergence; “epistemic hygiene” for imported skills and provenance; consent-centric defaults that make correction and rollback first-class.
Drawing on his research in “Qualia Waves” framework research, we will explore a biologically-inspired yet engineerable loop for cognitive general intelligence: a wave-based perceptual engine where conscious access emerges from a traveling query that interrogates distributed neural-like clusters, glial-style saturation and gating as slow integrators that decide when content enters awareness, an interpretable orchestrator that couples perception with language and planning in small, auditable ways, and metrics and training signals that move beyond text benchmarks toward reality convergence, surprise reduction, and transfer.

Host
Mr. Frank Dylan Rosario is a researcher at the intersection of artificial intelligence, cryptography, and cybernetics, and the inventor of the ENI6MA program on ephemeral, proof-based identity and cognition based AGi. His work proposes a glia-informed, wave-based mechanism for conscious access, an interpretable orchestrator that couples perception with language, and metrics that move beyond benchmark mimicry toward consequence, transfer, and corrigibility. Previously he has built global scale Ai in production (3 billion users) , security systems and protocols emphasizing post-quantum readiness and auditability.
