11:00 AM – 11:30 AM | Check-In & Welcome Reception
Guests arrive, check in, and connect over light refreshments.
11:30 AM – 11:40 AM | Opening Remarks
Welcome from Project 2.8 and Interplay leadership outlining the event goals and speed-networking format.
11:40 AM – 1:15 PM | VC Speed Networking Sessions
Each founder will meet with three venture capitalists, spending a few minutes focused, high-impact conversations.
Sessions focus on elevator pitches, VC question and feedback, and potential collaboration opportunities.
Continuous lunch and refreshments will be served throughout, allowing founders waiting for their turn — and VCs between sessions — to enjoy food and networking.
Round transitions are guided by a gentle timer or chime.
1:15 PM – 1:50 PM | Open Networking & Lunch Continuation
After the final rotation, guests enjoy an open networking period with food service still available, allowing follow-up conversations and informal exchanges.
1:45 PM – 2:00 PM | Closing Connections & Remarks
Final remarks.

Founded through Columbia Venture Community in 2020, Project 2.8 is a startup accelerator serving early-stage, pre-seed, women-led startups founded by current students and alumnae of Columbia University.
