About Event

Turing invites you to wrap up your day at ICML with a post-conference happy hour, co-hosted by Foundation Capital, Anyscale and Turing!

Hosted by Turing co-founders Jonathan Siddharth (CEO) and Vijay Krishnan (CTO), Foundation Capital General Partner Ashu Garg, and Anyscale co-founder Robert Nishihara, this event offers a unique opportunity to connect with industry leaders, discuss LLM advancements, and network with the DS/ML community.

Ashu Garg, General Partner at Foundation Capital and Turing board member, and Anyscale's Robert Nishihara, will share a strategic view on RL Gyms and why frontier labs are investing in reinforcement learning infrastructure. He’ll speak to the broader shift from intuition-driven tuning to structured post-training systems—where RL Gyms create a repeatable environment for evaluator feedback, reward shaping, and policy refinement. Expect insight into how investors are tracking maturity in this layer of the LLM stack—and what it signals about long-term value capture.

📍 Conveniently located within walking distance of the Vancouver Convention Centre, this event is open to everyone in Vancouver’s DS/ML/AI community—whether or not you're attending ICML. Wearing your ICML badge is encouraged to facilitate networking.

Learn how Turing collaborates with leading labs—including OpenAI, Google, and NVIDIA—to advance LLM capabilities in reasoning, coding, and data evaluation. We provide research-grade human data and evaluator systems to support SFT, RL, and other workflows focused on post-training fidelity.

Drinks and light fare will be provided.
