


Fantasy Life Drawing @ The Victoria
An afternoon of relaxed non-traditional life drawing in a bright and beautiful autumnal themed venue 🍂
Join us for this unique Fantasy Themed session, featuring 2 models in elegant dress. Expect elves, drapery, armour, swords and more for you to capture on your page! ✏️
The session is untutored, with gentle music and a non-judgmental welcoming environment, ideal for artists of all skill levels.
Figures & Fabric is an LGBTQIA+ and queer friendly space.
Hot drinks and bites can be purchased throughout the event.
The Clubhouse Social downstairs will be serving up all of your favourites, from cappuccino to flat whites, iced coffee, chai and matcha. Why not get cosy with a hot chocolate while you draw!
Drawing materials provided, but feel free to bring your own!

Arrival
12:00 - 12:15 pm
Gather your materials (and refreshments) as we prepare to start drawing. The Clubhouse Social will be open from the morning so feel free to arrive early and hang out.
Drawing first half
12:15 - 1:30 pm
Our models will provide some shorter poses for us to get warmed up, followed by longer ones. (we'll be taking a short break halfway through this block, so there'll be plenty of chances to grab refreshments and replenish your drawing supplies as we go)
Intermission
1:30 - 2:00 pm
30 min break. Grab a coffee or stretch your legs in the courtyard.
Drawing second half
2:00 - 3:00 pm
Our final hour of drawing will commence, with some suprises in store to keep the inspiration flowing! ✨ (there will be another short break halfway through this block)

Guidelines and FAQ 📝
Photographing the models is strictly prohibited
Please keep conversation to a minimum during poses and be mindful of conversational topics that may make those around you, or the models uncomfortable
Always respect the privacy of the models, avoid asking them to disclose any personal information
Please avoid eating during poses
Do I need drawing experience?
~ No experience needed whatsoever! These sessions are welcome to all. Join us for some relaxing vibes!
Drawing clothes is hard right?
~ It can be challenging but it doesn't have to be! Just have fun and let loose, you can keep things gestural or experiment with colour. There are no rules.
