Recruitment Meetup @Miro: Inside Miro’s Recruitment Machine
Recruitment Meetup @Miro
An inside look at Miro’s recruitment engine, followed by a discussion on how recruiters build lasting value in the "Judgment Economy"
We invite you to join our Recruitment Meetup, designed for talent professionals who want to learn directly from how high-performing teams operate at scale.
This edition is hosted at Miro's Amsterdam office, a company operating at product and talent scale where efficiency, judgment, and human impact must co-exist.
What to Expect
You can expect what Matchr meetups are known for: a warm, relaxed setting designed for open, meaningful conversations.
You’ll connect with around 60 recruiters, Talent Acquisition leaders, and HR professionals. It’s this honest, peer-level exchange.
There will also be good food, drinks, and plenty of time to connect informally throughout the evening.
From there, we’ll move into the core of the meetup:
1. Inside Miro’s Recruitment Machine
Engineering Efficiency to Unlock Strategic Human Impact
In this session, Rico Habraken-Badiali, who leads Talent Operations at Miro, will unpack how Miro has designed Talent Ops to operate as a business-first engine, not a back-office function.
He’ll walk through Miro’s outside-in approach to recruitment, starting from a fundamental question: who actually judges the success of Talent, and how should we serve both internal stakeholders and candidates accordingly?
Using a live demo of a Miro Kickoff, Rico will show how data-informed collaboration enables Talent teams to move beyond simple order-taking and step into the role of strategic partners driving business outcomes.
2. Fireside chat
The Recruiter’s New Competitive Edge in the Judgment Economy
Following the session, the fireside chat will focus on the shift from administrative execution to the Judgment Economy in recruitment.
We’ll explore how automating routine and operational tasks changes the role of Talent teams, creating space to move from a perceived cost function to a strategic, value-creating capability.
The discussion will zoom in on where the human-in-the-loop truly matters, particularly in market intelligence, behavioral influence, and business acumen, and what this means for how recruiters should invest in their skills going forward.
The goal is to provide a clear roadmap for recruiters to double down on the skills that machines simply cannot replicate.
