About the Event

AI has made it easier than ever to generate content. But generating more doesn't necessarily mean creating something people would actually stop for, remember, or buy from.

For our first Designkit workshop at Meitu's Palo Alto office, we're bringing together a small group of designers, creators, marketers, founders, and small-business owners to explore a more practical question:

What makes an AI-generated ad actually feel creative, relevant, and brand-ready?

We'll look at how Black Friday trends, cultural signals, and consumer behavior can be translated into creative ideas for real brands, experiment with AI-powered creative workflows, and put those ideas to the test through a fast, hands-on sprint.

This isn't a traditional product presentation.

It's a working session for people interested in the intersection of AI, creativity, advertising, and small-business marketing.

You'll see a live creative workflow, build something yourself, exchange ideas with other creatives, and hear direct reactions from marketers and business owners on what actually works.

What We'll Explore

What actually makes an ad scroll-stopping?

How can trends, cultural references, and consumer behavior become creative ideas without simply copying what's already popular?

Where can AI genuinely speed up the creative process, and where do taste, marketing judgment, and creative direction still matter most?

And why does some AI-generated content feel natural and brand-ready, while other work still feels generic or "too AI"?

The Creative Challenge

You'll use Designkit to create a Black Friday marketing concept for a small brand or business. It could be a short video, visual concept, storyboard, social ad, or another lightweight creative prototype.

We're not looking for the most polished execution.

We're interested in ideas that feel:

Relevant · Creative · Brand-Ready · Worth Stopping For

Who Should Join

This workshop is open to anyone curious about AI, creativity, advertising, or building better marketing content.

You don't need to be a designer or an existing Designkit user.
