19:30 PM: Nadav Eyal, author of Revolt: The Worldwide Uprising Against Globalization and How Democracy Will Win, If It Does, will speak about the transformation of the global political ecosystem- and what that transformation means for power, instability, and risk. The lecture will examine how structural changes in global politics are reshaping political risk assessment and strategic planning, not only for states but for corporations and individuals alike.

Or, put more plainly: how the world became a mess- and what that mess means for people who still want to build things.

Nadav Eyal is one of Israel's most prominent journalists and a winner of the Sokolov Award – Israel's Pulitzer Prize. He is a columnist for Yediot Ahronot, Israel's most circulated newspaper, and a commentator for Channel 12, one of Israel's two commercial channels.

Eyal is the author of the bestseller "REVOLT, the Worldwide Uprising Against Globalization," published in 2021 by Ecco HarperCollins (USA) and Picador (UK), as well as in a dozen more languages (China, Germany, Spain, Italy, Korea, Thailand, and more). His second book, "How Democracy Will Win (*if it does)", appeared in 2023 in Hebrew.

Eyal deals extensively with Israel's position in a globalized world and Washington-Jerusalem relations. His writings have also appeared in Haaretz, the Daily Telegraph, Axios, Der Spiegel, The Washington Post, The Daily Beast and Foreign Affairs.

During his career, he has served in senior positions in major Israeli media groups, interviewed four Israeli prime ministers, and several foreign heads of state. Haaretz described Eyal as "... a knight of common sense... a synonym for TV journalism at its best" (2015).

Eyal holds an MSc in Global Politics from the London School of Economics and Political Science (with merit), which he received as a Chevening Scholar, and an LL.B. from Hebrew University (magna cum laude).

Eyal was a fellow in the China-Israel Innovation Fellowship led by the Aspen Institute (2016-2017) and participated in the Brookings Institute’s Saban Forum (2014-2017). He received B'nai B'rith’s World Center Award for Journalism (2015) in recognition of "excellence in Diaspora reportage."

20:15 PM: Tomer Shani, Managing Director of Meitar New York (Meitar is Israel's leading law firm), will discuss recent dramatic developments in global markets, and how today’s macroeconomic environment—together with the situation in Israel—is reshaping Israeli companies’ ability to raise capital, manage risk, and create meaningful exit opportunities.

His talk will examine how AI global trends, volatility, market sentiments, geopolitical tension, and shifting investor sentiment translate into very real constraints and decisions for founders and executives operating in a fragmented global economy.

Together with Nadav Eyal’s broader geopolitical lens, the conversation moves from why the world became so unstable to how companies can still navigate uncertainty, attract capital, and build durable businesses inside it.

20:45 PM: A panel discussion, led by Liron Winberg-Retzkin. In her work with startups at Deloitte, Liron accelerates growth through expert go-to-market strategy and high-impact partnerships, empowering founders to succeed in new markets.
