All About Love + Reframing the Black Figure in Philly Day Trip
Join us on SUNDAY JANUARY 12TH when we’ll be heading to Philly for a day full of art centered around the black experience in America with private guided tours at both the Philadelphia Museum of Art as well as the Barnes Foundation.

We’ll drive together in a rental car from lower Manhattan to head to the Philadelphia Museum of Art for a private guided tour of the Time Is Always Now: Artists Reframe the Black Figure exhibit which features 28 Black and African diasporic contemporary artists who use figurative painting, drawing and sculpture to illuminate and celebrate the nuance and richness of Black contemporary life.
Then, after taking a break for lunch at the stunning Frank Gehry–designed Stir restaurant at the PMA, we’ll take a brief walk (or uber, depending on the weather) to the Barnes Foundation for a private guided tour of Mickalene Thomas: All About Love, the first major international tour focused on the work of this pioneering artist.

Art-full members can choose to reserve a spot in the rental car with the group, leaving from Avis car rental at 68 E 11th St. - or purchase a museum/ tour-only ticket if you prefer to take the train or bus or drive on your own
All tickets include museum entry & private guided tours at both museums.
No food or drink is included and all must be purchased separately on-site.
