Winter Workshop 3: Making A Folded Worlds Booklet
Join me this December for a series of four cozy, winter-themed art workshops — each one taught step-by-step with a clear overhead camera so you can easily follow along.
Each workshop explores a different technique: drawing, painting, folding, or crafting. You can join all four or pick the ones that inspire you most.
These workshops are suitable for all skill levels, and you’ll be guided step-by-step with a clear overhead camera view so you can easily follow along.
This workshop:
Make a magical ever-folding booklet that reveals a new winter scene with each fold.
Watch me make an autumned themed folding booklet on YouTube for inspiration: https://youtu.be/WS7lG5Qxnpk
Materials:
3 sheets of paper (ideally a bit sturdy, like 180 gsm) - you can use coloured paper or white
scissors
glue (glue stick preferred)
drawing materials (dry media works best: pencils, markers, etc.)
white acrylic marker or gouache
If you want to work quietly, you can turn off your camera and/or microphone. At the end of the session, you can share your work, but it's entirely optional. It's meant to be a fun and relaxing time.
Please do tag me when you share your work on Instagram, my Instagram ID is - @lascarlatte
You can also tag me on Substack and/or post your work in our Creative Cocoon Club chat.
A recording of the session will be up afterwards.
Looking forward to the session, see you there!
