Sustainable Production in NYC
Film and TV productions are rethinking how they power their sets, move their crews, and build their basecamps. This rapid-fire session spotlights New York–based innovators bringing sustainable production solutions to life—from electric vehicle fleets and mobile DC fast charging, to solar-powered trailers, hybrid battery systems, and clean mobile power for basecamps and studios.
Through short, focused talks, leading vendors will share how their tools are already cutting emissions and costs on sets across the city. Attendees will leave with a practical sense of the technologies available today, how to integrate them into production workflows, and where the industry is heading as studios, streamers, and independent producers all push toward greener practices.
Featured Speakers:
Sam Read, Executive Director, Sustainable Entertainment Alliance (Introduction and Moderator)
Micah Bergdale, Founder, Joulez
Mark Edward Lucas, Sr, Chief Technology Officer, EcoSilent
Stephen Thompson, Co-Owner, Bulldog Lighting and Events
