eWaste Warriors is back at Courthaus Social for our September Reboot Hour — this time in the Courtroom, their back bar — and this month we're following the current: what happens when old electronics end up in landfills and their lead, mercury, and cadmium leach into groundwater, rivers, and the fish in them. And the good news: every device that gets repaired, reused, or responsibly recycled is a device that never gets the chance.
What's happening:
🕵️ Device Detectives: Water Edition — the case convenes in the Courtroom. Our networking game is back with all-new water and tech questions. Meet people, swap stories, unlock badges, win prizes. First-timers welcome; it takes 10 minutes and zero prep.
📱 Free device drop-off — bring your old phones, laptops, and tablets. We secure your data at no charge and give every device its best next chapter — which means its toxics never touch a waterway. Pre-register your device when you RSVP and skip the line.
🌱 Sustainable prizes — no cheap swag, promise.
Who should come: Anyone curious about tech and sustainability, anyone with a drawer full of old electronics, and anyone who wants to meet good people over a drink on a Monday night.
Where to find us: Walk into Courthaus Social and head straight to the back — the Courtroom is ours for the night. Grab a pint or a bratwurst from the beer garden on your way.
