About Event

Fraudsters are innovating faster than ever, and the front lines of this battle aren’t inside a lab, they’re inside live systems processing millions of real-world transactions and sadly millions of scams.

Join us at Tunic Pay HQ for an evening exploring the practical, tested strategies that are working right now in the fight against adversaries. We’re bringing together AI/ML leaders from Monzo (Robin Dhamankar, AI/ML Discipline Lead), Tunic Pay (Slava Polianskii, Lead AI/ML Scientist), and NatWest (Oskar Wismierski, Head of Fraud Analytics) to dig into:

  • What techniques actually detect adversarial behavior in live environments?

  • Where do traditional ML models fall short—and how does GenAI supplement them?

  • How do teams think about risk, transparency, and trust under real operational pressure?

Expect unfiltered insights, challenging questions, and behind-the-scenes stories from those building and defending at scale. This panel promises to be practical above all (no overreliance on synthetic data/retrostudies/theoretical models); just real talk on engineering and fraud-fighting in action.

*CHATHAM HOUSE RULES*

🍕 Drinks and pizza will follow.

This is a great event for engineers, data scientists, and applied researchers curious about systems that keep the world safe.
