DRE for Livelihoods - Orientation
As part of the Greenovation Distributed Renewable Energy for Livelihoods Challenge, we are hosting an orientation session to help potential applicants better understand the initiative and assess whether it is the right fit for them.
Across rural and peri-urban India, access to reliable energy continues to limit livelihoods, productivity, and essential services. From post-harvest losses and lack of cold storage to water access challenges and limited income-generating opportunities, the need for practical, decentralised clean energy solutions is urgent.
Through this challenge, we are looking to support innovations that can strengthen rural livelihoods through distributed renewable energy in ways that are affordable, scalable, and rooted in real-world contexts. This session is designed to give you complete clarity on how your solution can align with the challenge.
