Crochet Your Own Claude
Want a hobby for the minutes you spend waiting on Claude? Do you know how many minutes that is? I do.
We're making the little guy from your terminal: a crochet Claude crab. Tech moves fast; you deserve two hours to be bad at something. It's the only way you get good.
Materials included. Slots limited!
For absolute beginners. Never crocheted, never knitted. If you know what "R1 mr sc x 6 (6)" means, you're already too advanced for this. Take a break, learn a craft, walk out with a semblance of a crab. Maybe a few hot takes about where AI starts and stops. Who knows.
What you will learn:
Hold a hook, make a slip knot, and work a chain and a single crochet
Work a magic ring, the closed starting circle almost every crocheted animal begins with, and the step where every beginner gets stuck
Work in continuous rounds, a spiral that grows without a seam, and increase to shape the piece
Set lock-in plastic eyes, finish off, and hide the tail so your crab does not come undone
Clawd the Crab is a free pattern by Lizette at Chrisette Designs. She shares it for nothing, so if you enjoy it, buy her a coffee. chrisettedesigns.com/patterns/clawd-the-crab-free-crochet-pattern/ · ko-fi.com/chrisettedesigns
Hosted by Andrés Sepúlveda Morales (Red Mage, redmage.cc) and Christina Pruneski (IG: @memento_vivre_arts). We'll get you from a pile of yarn to the statistical approximation of a crab.
