​Throwing a Crafty Clothing Swap 👕🧵🪡

​We're making a one night only mini thrift store and we want you to be there!!!!! Clean out your closet and bring a few items for someone else to add to theirs!!! Bring items such as t shirts, sweaters, pants, jeans, tote bags, button ups—minimal stains and holes are okay!!

​Take a moment to look around at the clothing options, choose your picks, then upcycle them with embroidery, cutting, sewing, painting, etc We'll bring our sewing machine and assist you if you want to sew anything at a basic level

​One man's trash is quite literally another one's treasure & we can't wait to save clothes from our dumps with you, our earth thanks you 🌎 🫶

​**please make sure all items are cleaned before bringing them!

​​​​Your Ticket Includes

​👗 🩳 ​​Access to "shop" the mini thrift store we'll create together & new clothes to give another life to!!

​🖍️ 🎨 Materials to upcycle including embroidery thread, assorted fabrics, acrylic paint & fabric medium, beads, and a sewing machine

​👍🏼 ✅ A brief rundown on all you need to know to feel comfortable & confident completing the craft

​​​​💙 🌀 A community full of genuine people ready to encourage you and your creative expression!!! This event is more about playing and experimenting with creativity than it is the result. You can't mess up art, just have fun with it!!

​​​​​​​What to Expect:

• ​​​​6:00-6:30pm Arrival & Mingling

  • ​​​​Join us for the first 30min to order food & drink (your first one is on us!!), find a seat, and mingle with each other before we start crafting :)

• ​​​​6:30-8:30pm Brief Instructions & Crafting

  • ​We'll give you a brief introduction to the craft, any pointers or important info needed, and stick around to help as needed

  • ​Time to pick out your supplies and let your creativity run wild!!!! We encourage you to focus on creativity over perfection, have fun with it!!!

• ​​​​8:30pm Clean Up

  • ​Just kidding!!!!! Once you've finished the craft and met your new besties, admire the heck outta your creation and leave the cleaning to us!!! That's what this is all about--come, enjoy good food & company, create, make a mess, and don't worry about it! When else are you encouraged to make a mess??

​​​​📍 Meet us at The Slice & Pint, Redondo Beach! They are all about creating a casual, friendly vibe and prioritizing locally sourced ingredients. Be sure to show them some love by placing an order when you arrive/while you craft, and please respect their space throughout the event! 🍕
