Oasis Investors Series: AMA with Yanjie Long, 20VC
Behind every deal is a finance strategy that makes it possible. From fund operations to portfolio support, this session dives into the often-overlooked side of venture capital — how CFOs keep funds running, what matters most in scaling firms, and what founders should know about the financial lens investors bring.
About Speaker:
Yanjie is the CFO at 20VC, where she leads finance strategy and operations across the venture funds, fund manager, and media company. She joined the firm in 2024, bringing a decade of experience in venture capital and accounting.
Before 20VC, Yanjie spent five years at Balderton Capital, where she led fund accounting and operations during a period of rapid growth, as the firm doubled its AUM to $6B. She began her career as a Chartered Accountant in the audit practice at PwC New Zealand, before moving to London to immerse herself in the venture ecosystem.
