Hi all!
Time to kick off 2026 for BrisPHP!
Location
NOTE: We have a new location at the foundU offices on Coronation Drive. Still very close to the Milton train station and should be plenty of street parking available.
We're trying something new this time, rather than scheduled talks we will be running a group discussion & social session followed by lightning talks.
If you have something you've learnt recently or you'd like to share, a lightning talk is the perfect place for it!

Lightning talks worked great last time!
A lightning talk is a very quick talk (5-10 mins) that can be on any topic. Very little prep necessary, you don't need slides or a demo, though you can bring something light if you like.
This is a great space to dip your feet into the water with your very first talk. Some great ideas include:
A quick demo of a side project you've been working on
Share something cool/interesting you've learned recently
Start a group discussion on a topic you care about
