Introduction to web development

​Join us for a free, beginner-friendly workshop designed to get you started in the world of web development.

​Whether you're ready to write your first line of code or you just want to come along for the vibes, hang out, and meet like-minded people—you are completely welcome here!

​What you need: Just bring yourself and a laptop, and we'll handle the rest. Absolutely no prior experience is required.

​Who is this for? This event is open to anyone who is underrepresented in tech, including women, queer people, and people of colour.

​About codebar: This event is run by the charity codebar. Our goal is to enable people from underrepresented groups to learn programming in a safe, collaborative environment and to expand their career opportunities. To achieve this, we run free regular workshops and one-off events, actively working to make technology and coding more accessible for everyone.
