Meet the Panelists

Evan Koorse ‘03, the co-founder of TSC Miami, has more than two decades of experience scaling global apparel and manufacturing companies. He founded Art Gun and Monster Digital, leaders in on-demand printing and e-commerce fulfillment. Koorse serves on the LEC Advisory Board and is committed to innovation, leadership and community impact.

Danielle Rushton is the founder of Wherewithal, a patented fit technology company redefining sizing across intimates, swimwear and activewear. She scaled the venture from concept to national retailers including Target and Nordstrom and is passionate about mentoring women entrepreneurs and advancing inclusive innovation in fashion.

Mike Magee is the founder of LoCo Tampa Bay, a locally owned catering marketplace focused on keeping dollars in the local economy. With nearly 20 years of experience building and scaling food and service platforms, he launched LoCo to support local restaurants, reliable service and community-first growth.

Meet the Moderator

Chris Gurrie is an Associate Professor of Communication at the University of Tampa whose work focuses on professional presentations, audience connection, leadership, and storytelling. He teaches courses in oral communication, business communication, group presentations, and first-year experience programs. Gurrie’s research spans applied communication, organizational communication, and performative storytelling, and he is the coauthor of Business Communication in a Technological World. He has received multiple teaching and research awards, including Florida Communication Association Teacher of the Year and Researcher of the Year, and remains actively engaged in professional scholarship and community service.
