Investment 101

​Investment 101 is a workshop for founders of digital technology startups; you'll be actively building your first product, or you'll have already launched and have early traction or revenue. This event is for you.

If you're thinking about raising investment for your tech startup, you'll learn how angel and VC investment works, how to research and run a fundraising process, and whether raising investment is the right path for you.

This event is hosted by Founder Commons, a community for early-stage technology founders in North East England to unlock their ambition together, through peer support and access to experienced operators and investors.

Attendance is strictly invite-only, and not open to service providers or businesses considered to be outside the technology sector.

The Founder Commons is a pilot programme supported by the UK Tech Cluster Group and the Department for Science, Innovation & Technology.
