TiME HACK: Game On! The Showcase
See the future of immersive multiplayer gaming - built in just 72 hours.
Join us for the closing event of TiME Hack 2026, Europe’s most immersive hackathon. Over 72 hours, interdisciplinary teams built original multiplayer game prototypes that blend physical and digital worlds, pushing beyond VR into the realm of shared-reality gameplay.
Now, they take the stage to present their final results.
Each team will pitch their game concept live on stage, sharing how they used immersive technology to create new ways to play, collaborate, or learn. Expect working prototypes ranging from experimental multiplayer games to serious games with educational or social value. All developed inside Fraunhofer HHI’s TiME Lab over the course of one weekend.

What is TiME HACK?
TiME Hack is a 3-day hackathon where developers, designers, and researchers team up to build experimental multiplayer games using Fraunhofer HHI’s TiME Lab technology, including spatial audio, motion tracking, and real-time simulation tools. The goal: to invent new forms of shared gameplay that go beyond VR, blending physical interaction with digital environments. It’s a rare opportunity to work with tools normally reserved for advanced research, and to prototype ideas that could lead to the next wave of immersive entertainment or learning.
The Showcase is the closing event where teams will take the stage to present their final results.
