About Event

The pace of change in software engineering is absurd right now. If that makes you more excited than terrified, this is an evening for you.

Come join the GitHub Next team for an evening on speculative software engineering. What tools and interfaces might/should/could we use to make better software in the near future?

GitHub Next is the R&D branch of GitHub. The whole team is in London for a week and we would love to hang out with you. Our team explores and prototypes the next generation of software engineering tools and interfaces. We'll demo some of our recent work. See more of what we do at githubnext.com.

Who should come?
Prototypers, tool builders, design engineers, and anyone exploring the edge of software engineering tools.

We want community demos too! Have a novel interface for code reviews, prototyping, or backend migration? An especially elaborate agentic harness? Show us the things that are ridiculous today and everywhere next year.
