Upcycle your Clothes with Paint!
Join Queens Collaborative and Perry Roe (https://www.instagram.com/perrydrawstoo/) for a creative workshop centering sustainable fashion, giving you the opportunity to give creative new life to old clothing! This workshop will teach you the materials and techniques used to paint clothing that is washable and uniquely yours!
Beyond being an artistic and creative opportunity to design colorful and creative graphics, it is an opportunity to reduce waste and give a facelift to old clothing. With these techniques, clothing is revived, washable, and one-of-a-kind.
In addition, we encourage participants to bring clean, gently used seasonal clothing to donate to the local clothing drive benefitting the Free Store at Astoria Food Pantry! Pick an item to paint during the workshop, and leave the rest to help clothe our neighbors.
