About Event

Children ages 3-6 will plant, decorate, and take home their own personal mini garden!

What to expect:

🌸Support early literacy and school-readiness skills with a short circle time and themed read aloud at 16:20.

🌸Learn about the season of Spring and gardening in a hands-on, sensory way by filling up small personal containers with flowers and soil.

🌸Develop creativity and independence by designing and decorating each individual garden with stones and seasonal items such as bunnies and eggs.

🌸Let your children develop their social skills with same-age peers in a cozy, small group environment.

Good To Know:

Grown-Up Time:

We will be providing coffee and tea for caregivers to enjoy while their children learn. If your child is comfortable with you doing so, caregivers may leave the event space, but we kindly ask you check-in with us first. In case your child is struggling to join or having big feelings, we ask you to stay nearby. Otherwise, we invite adults in attendance to stay, sit back, relax, and meet other parents.

👥 Bringing more than one child?

With the purchase of a full-priced ticket, enjoy 10€ off up to 2 sibling tickets each. Just select ‘Sibling’ along with your ‘Standard’ ticket when booking.

⏱️This Session's Agenda:

The workshop will begin with a short circle time, featuring a themed read-aloud and a fun movement activity to help kids warm up and connect. After that, children will dive into the garden-making process. A cozy sensory bin free-play and book area will also be available throughout the session for children who arrive early, or who need a break throughout the session.

Looking forward to growing with you!

Further information: Our workshops are held in English, including read-alouds and songs. We are happy to provide German language support when needed.

We will provide all craft and sensory materials as well as a caring and nurturing environment for safe and supported learning.

We suggest you feed your child a small snack before the session, or have one available for afterwards. There is a toilet available for patrons, but no changing table on site.

Who we are: Meggie and Raela are your teachers with Friendship in the Feld, an early childhood development program providing play-based educational workshops for children. We are two early childhood educators with more than 20 years of combined experience with young children. Through sensory experiences, art exploration and child-led play, we aim to support social-emotional learning and help develop community and school readiness skills.
