

Environmental Stewardship and Solutions Panel and Skillshare
Environmental Stewardship and Solutions Career Panel Discussion and Skill Share is a public event designed to foster a community-building experience around environmental stewardship and responsibility for all. Co-hosted by Black Girl Environmentalist and the State Impact Center it will primarily bring together students, grassroots organizers, environmental professionals, and government representatives. This event is open to all interested individuals.
The event will commence with a panel discussion exploring environmental careers, including in environmental law, transitioning into broader conversation on environmental issues, strategies, and ideas for creating a healthier future for everyone.

Jasmine Jennings, Senior Legislative Counsel at Earthjustice
Yueh-Ru Chu, Chief of the Affirmative Litigation in the Environmental Protection Bureau of the New York State Attorney General’s Office (New York City)
Anna Ruth Pickett, Development and Outreach Manager at Urban Resources Initiative, Yale School of the Environment
In addition to the panel, the event will feature workshops and skill-sharing sessions led by community partners. Activities will include clothing mending, a composting workshop, and more all centered around environmental priorities. The goal is to create meaningful connections and promote practical approaches to environmental responsibility.
