BSmAI x Professor Ganna Pogrebna: Behavioural AI Workshop
Data-driven and AI-enabled systems often lead very smart, well-intentioned people to make very odd choices. This in-person, hands-on lab explores why.
Led by Professor Ganna Pogrebna, we'll work through practical examples of how behavioural assumptions, incentives, framing, automation bias, and more importantly, organisational habits quietly distort insights across the entire data pipeline, from the moment a problem is defined to the moment someone clicks "approve" without hesitation.
No silver bullets, no preaching, no "the model said so" - just practical diagnosis, uncomfortable questions, and the realisation that predictive accuracy is not the same as decision quality.
You'll leave knowing why so many dashboards keep lying to us.
Bring your laptop. No deep tech skills required.
