Join Us for Our 2026 Innovator Program: Q&A Social Hour!
Take the night off with the rest of the NYC maritime and ocean renewables industry and explore whether the 2026 Offshore Wind Innovation Hub (OWIH) Innovator Program is the right fit for you. We're thrilled to host this event at WindScape Brooklyn — the first-of-its-kind offshore wind learning center right here in NYC and a living testament to the industry being built in our own backyard.
The 2026 Innovator Q&A Happy Hour is designed to bring together prospective applicants alongside the network our program has built for the past 3 years for an evening of connection and conversation. Consider it your one-stop shop for any last-minute questions ahead of the application deadline — with the added bonus of an exclusive tour of the South Brooklyn Marine Terminal, a critical infrastructure project at the heart of NYC's clean energy future and a prime example of where innovative technology like yours can play a potential defining role.

About the OWIH Innovator Program:
Building on a strong three-year track record, this eight-month intensive program supports the continued advancement of offshore wind in New York and across the U.S. by accelerating impactful and scalable innovations. With this 2026 Call for Innovators, we are especially seeking technologies that can maximize the performance and value of existing and near-term projects.
Our program is industry-specific, enabling us to comprehensively assist our innovators with understanding their market fit and technology adaptation needs, obtaining product feedback, validating their value proposition, accessing data insights, and exploring testing opportunities.
The Offshore Wind Innovation Hub is an initiative led by Urban Future Lab at NYU Tandon School of Engineering and the National Offshore Wind R&D Consortium (NOWRDC) in collaboration with the New York State Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) and New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYC EDC).
Our Innovator Program is supported by Equinor and Vestas.
