How to talk about your ocean tech (idea)
Marketing messaging experts and Kelford Inc. founders, Joel and Leah, will take participants through their Marketing Rangefinder framework, with practical exercises so you walk away with real messages you can test and refine.
This is specifically designed for founders who don’t have customers yet, who are working through discovery and open to experiments.
The Marketing Rangefinder helps entrepreneurs find the right words at a moment’s notice, or when you’re preparing for an important presentation, pitch, or conversation. It puts the traditional sales funnel to the side and explores sales and marketing through distances from the customer and what to say at each distance to move them one step closer.
This session will focus on helping you find, reach, and speak with prospects who’ve never heard of you before, and learn from the people you already know and who already understand your value (sometimes better than you do!).
It’s hands-on, exploratory, and ensures you leave with clear next steps to best explain your big dream or tech innovation (a very handy lesson as you finalize your Ocean Startup Project Idea Challenge applications!)
