Folk Tech Play Day
Stop talking about "consumers" and "users"!
Let's make and use tech that supports us as people to be in connection and to collaborate, not that addicts us or exists to make us buy things.
Folk Tech is a movement of folks who want to make technology that supports people and communities that doesn't depend on big technology corporations.
Who is this event for?
We welcome anyone who wants to have technology that we collectively own and that supports us to be in good relationship.
This includes p2p, local-first, open source, distributed technology makers, designers, community organizers, artists and creatives, storytellers, and all folks who feel aligned. Find out more here: https://folktechnology.org
