Women + AI NYC: The First Dinner
Women + AI has finally landed in New York! Join us for our first NYC dinner: an evening of good food, thoughtful conversation, and a room full of women working out what AI can do for their work and lives. No expertise required, just curiosity and maybe the gift for gab.
Here's how the night goes:
6:30 PM: Arrive, grab a drink, mix and mingle
6:45 PM: Dinner and panel conversation. Find your seat and settle in for a conversation with our panelists over your first course.
7:30 PM: Small-group conversations over mains, then each table shares out over dessert.
8:30 PM: Group pic & head home!
Who You'll Hear From
Ashley Striblet, PhD spent a decade as a consumer researcher, most recently as a staff product researcher at Google, studying how people adopt new technology. She now writes Early Insights Club, a weekly read on emerging consumer trends in AI, and shares related insights on TikTok and Instagram. She reaches an audience of 30k+ tech leaders, founders, and investors across her channels, advises early-stage founders on their research agendas, and helps companies turn their findings into insights that shape industry conversations.
Mandela Cocores is the founder of Welcome Home, which she started after her own postpartum experience showed her the service didn't exist. Today it delivers chef-made postpartum meals to new parents across New York and beyond. She's a woman building for women, and she uses AI to run her business more efficiently, turning hours of weekly busywork into minutes (OpenAI recently featured how she does it).
The conversation will be moderated by Sarah Gibbons, who co-leads the Women + AI New York chapter alongside Niki Shetty. Kylee Hayden, founder of Women + AI, is coming to town to kick off the New York chapter right.

A Few Important Details
Refunds and transfers: Because seats are curated and dinner is ordered on a headcount, tickets are fully refundable up to 7 days before the event. After that, they're non-refundable but fully transferable; just send your spot to a friend who'd love the seat and email us her details.
Photos and notes: We capture photos and video throughout the night to share the magic. By attending, you're okay with appearing in those. At the tables, we use Granola to capture high-level themes, which we share in our newsletter. Prefer not to be photographed or mentioned in the recap? Just tell us at check-in and we'll honor it.
Food, drinks, and your safety: Dinner is included, and drinks are available at the cash bar. You're responsible for your own dietary needs and for drinking responsibly. Let us know about allergies when you register and we'll pass them to Maman, but please check with the staff on the night before you eat. You attend at your own risk and are responsible for your own wellbeing during the evening.
