​Pillow Talk: Make a Sculptural Throw Pillow

​Led by Adrianna of Kiki & Bouba, this hands-on workshop will teach you how to design and construct a bold, sculptural throw pillow.

​In this hands-on workshop, K&B will guide participants through the core techniques for designing and sewing a sculptural throw pillow. You’ll learn how to design, cut and shape fabric forms. Then you’ll assemble a finished statement cushion.

​This workshop is designed for participants who want to move beyond traditional pillows and explore fabric as a sculptural medium. The session will begin with demonstrating foundational techniques for creating a dimensional throw pillow, including pattern planning, fabric cutting, layering, and structural stitching methods.

​​After learning these core skills, you’ll have dedicated time to refine your design by experimenting with shape and composition to create a pillow that feels totally unique to you. Whether you prefer clean, architectural forms or softer, organic silhouettes, you’ll have creative freedom to develop a piece that reflects your personal style.

​​By the end of the session, you’ll leave with a finished sculptural throw pillow that can serve as a bold accent for your home, a thoughtful gift, or a foundation for future textile experimentation.
