Campfire | Rebuilding Juro's Performance Approach From Scratch - A Case Study

​It's a truth universally acknowledged that performance management is broken.

A Deloitte study posits that only 2% of CHROs believe their system actually works. A Mercer report goes further: bulldoze it and rebuild with AI.

9 months ago, Juro rebuilt their system from scratch. They now have:

(1) A bare-bones, low-cost framework with simple data outputs; run every 1–2 months. It doubles as an easy proxy for talent density.

(2) Continuous manager coaching, consisting of targeted group sessions plus proactive 1:1 support.

(3) AI tooling that automates the admin, augments the thinking, and increasingly acts as an agent across the workflow.

None of this arrived fully formed. We refined it bit by bit through trial and error.
