Offline @ IKEA | FREE Stunt 🛏️ | IKEA Köln-Am Butzweilerhof

​Beds should be for pillow-talk, not scrolling 📵 IKEA has invited The Offline Club Cologne to organize a stunt in it's bed section... join us to help inspire strangers to transform their homes in phone-free spaces.

​Imagine this: you drive to IKEA on a Saturday and when you enter the bed section you find 100 people reading, knitting, chatting and having fun, without a phone in sight. On Saturday, March 21st The Offline Club Cologne is hanging-out at IKEA Köln-Am Butzweilerhof and surprising IKEA guests with a real-life example of how a phone-free bedroom could feel and look like 🫂

​​​​What to expect:

​🛏️Make yourself cozy and at home in IKEA's bed section.

​📵The opportunity of joining a stunt that inspires: we believe that phone-free bedrooms should be the new normal. Beds are not for scrolling.

​💆‍♀️Me-time. 1 hour of shared silent time - to relax, read, knit, sketch and slow down.

​🤝Connection time. 1 hour of time to chat, connect, play games & meet new people.

​​Please note that IKEA will be open to everyone and that regular IKEA guests will be walking through... they might start taking videos of us or be loud during the me-time. This is outside of the control of The Offline Club Cologne - if it would make you feel uncomfortable, this is perhaps not the right stunt for you.

📍 IKEA Köln-Am Butzweilerhof, Butzweilerstraße 51, 50829.
🚊 Tram line 5 has a stop called: Ikea am Butzweilerhof. You can't miss it.
⏰ We meet at 14.30 at the main entrance of IKEA. We will then be escorted to the bed section as a group. The stunt will run from 15.00 to 17.00

​What to bring:
📖 Bring a book, knitting set, journal, sketch pad, LEGO, or whatever offline hobby you love.
👯 Your friends, fam, colleagues, crush... Basically, people who'd kill you if they'd miss this.
