GenJam NY: Make a Comedic Short With Morphic

About the event

In this GenJam, teams will concept, produce, and premiere a 45–90 second comedy—a funny satire or story with a setup and punchline. You’ll learn to move from beat sheet to screen fast, using AI tools to draft visuals, voices, and sound, then cut it all into a tight narrative.

We’re partnering with Morphic to streamline the visual workflow and get you from idea → boards → shots in record time.

About Morphic ( https://www.morphic.com/ ):

Morphic is an AI storytelling platform empowering creators, animators, and filmmakers to bring ideas to life faster. Through Morphic Studio, they combine automation with creative control, recently launching an AI-powered anime project and a $1M Creator’s Fund to back bold new voices in visual media.

The 4-hour flow

Hour 1 — Tools training (5:00–6:00 PM)
Hands-on demos and mini-exercises:
