About Event

Where are you stuck, doubting yourself, or quietly spiralling? What if you could talk it through—honestly, out loud, and without judgement?

Agony Art: Dear Amie is a live, interactive coaching hour for writers wrestling with real creative problems.

In this session, writers are invited to bring a current block, fear, or dilemma from their creative life. Amie McNee, author of We Need Your Art, will coach writers through challenges in real time. No question is too messy. No concern is off-limits.

Join us for a live coaching session with Amie McNee where we’ll focus on:

  • Untangling specific creative problems you’re currently stuck in

  • Naming the real obstacles beneath procrastination, fear, or avoidance

  • Finding grounded, workable next steps

You’re welcome to participate actively or listen and learn from others’ questions.

What to bring

  • A current creative problem, question, or frustration

  • Optional: a notebook to capture insights as we go
