Deep Tech Night Hannover
We're bringing Berlin's favourite deep tech event to Hannover!
Since 2024, Deep Tech Night has been one of Berlin's go-to evenings for founders, researchers, and investors who are serious about deep tech.
On 23 June, for the first time, we're taking it outside of Berlin and hosting it in Hannover in partnership with techfactory Hannover and BANSON.
How it works:
You're welcomed by our team, you can grab a drink, and meet the people in the room before we kick off
Ulf-Birger Franz (Director of Department for Economy and Transport) welcomes you on behalf of Hannover Region
Julian Stubbe (VDI/VDE Innovation + Technik GmbH) discusses the importance of deep tech - and deep-tech startups in particular - for Europe’s competitiveness and technological sovereignty
Then 4 early-stage startups take their turn to pitch to a panel of deep tech investors, who ask the right questions
After each 10 minute pitch, the floor opens for the audience to ask questions and get involved
Afterwards, food is served and the great conversations continue!

Founders based in Hannover building at the intersection of science and industry, at any stage
Researchers who want to connect with the startup ecosystem and see what's being built beyond the lab
Investors and ecosystem builders with a serious interest in early-stage deep tech

What is 'deep tech'?
Good question. It's definitely a term that gets thrown around a lot. Deep tech refers to technology that is grounded in advanced scientific research or engineering. For example, AI, robotics, quantum computing, photonics, biotech, semiconductors, new materials, and hardware innovation.
Who is Silicon Allee?
Silicon Allee at Fraunhofer HHI is a venture lab embedded within one of Europe's leading applied research institutes. Through our CORE Topics programme, selected startups get direct access to Fraunhofer HHI's patents, researchers, and facilities, alongside Silicon Allee's network and strategic guidance. Our focus is helping founders develop their technology and reach their first financing round.
