The Anti-Vibe-Coding Challenge
Everyone's vibe-coding with AI these days. Ship fast, pray it works, hope no one looks at the code.
I want to show you something different.
THE CHALLENGE
I'll take an app idea from YOU and build it live in ~2 hours.
But here's the bar I'm holding myself to:
✅ 90%+ test coverage (real tests, not just "it runs")
✅ Passing security scans
✅ Documented architecture
✅ Code clean enough to hand to a developer tomorrow
✅ All from a spec we write together at the start
No pre-built demo. No tricks. Just a workflow I built for myself as a PM who codes with AI.
WHY AM I DOING THIS?
I've spent months building software solo with Claude Code - not quick prototypes, but production software with real quality standards.
Along the way, I built a workflow tool called Solokit that brings engineering discipline to solo AI development. Session management, work item tracking, quality gates, learning capture - the things that make software maintainable.
Now I want to stress-test it publicly and get honest feedback from PMs and founders who might actually use it.
WHAT YOU'LL SEE
→ Taking a raw idea and turning it into a proper spec
→ Breaking it into work items with clear acceptance criteria
→ Building with Claude Code using structured sessions
→ Running quality gates (tests, linting, security scans)
→ The final result: production-ready code you could ship
WHAT I NEED FROM YOU
1. Submit an app idea when you register — something that would typically take a small dev team 2-3 days to build with proper testing and quality. Don't hold back.
2. Show up on December 20th at 11 AM IST
3. Be brutally honest at the end — what worked, what didn't
THE DEAL
Worst case: You watch me struggle and learn what NOT to do.
Best case: You see a workflow that changes how you build with AI.
Either way, it should be interesting.
ABOUT ME
I'm Ankush - a product manager who's been building solo with AI for the past year. Not a developer by training, but I've shipped production software using Claude Code and the workflows I'll be showing you.
This isn't a polished course or a sales pitch. It's an experiment, live and unfiltered.
