About Event

Group 18 is hosting an OKR Party in your honor - yes, you! We're going to explore the nuance and complexity of doing OKRs right, sharing our learnings from many years of complex OKRs and operating plans.

What You’ll Get From This Session

In this interactive session, you’ll walk away with:

  • The biggest OKR pitfalls: Learn the most common mistakes leaders make with OKRs, and how to avoid them or fix them quickly.

  • Principles of great OKR design: Learn how to design OKRs that drive focus, alignment, accountability, and measurability.

  • From strategy to business levers: Learn how to identify the true drivers of your business and translate them into OKRs that teams can act on and measure.

  • Best practices for implementation: Learn how to deploy an OKR cycle that will stick.

You'll also get a custom Group 18 one-page OKR architecture handout you can use as a blueprint for your next cycle.

Our Engagement Style

It may sound silly but this stuff actually really excites us! We proudly nerd out over sharing the good, the bad, and the ugly about OKRs with our peers and friends.

We intend for this to be a fun and interactive session. We won't be talking at you for an hour; we'll be working together to explore the power and challenges of OKRs.

We want to tap into the collective knowledge of this group so we have two asks for you:

  • πŸ“· Have your camera on for full-spectrum engagement.

  • β€‹πŸ’¬ Be ready to come off mute and share your experiences.

We can't wait to see you there!

Meet Your Hosts

Anna Appell: I’m excited to co-facilitate this small group session with Kevin! I have 13+ years of experience driving business transformation and operational excellence in financial services and technology industries. I worked alongside Kevin at Atlassian for 8 years designing and executing global OKRs from conception through to business impact. We’re excited to share our experience so that you can apply our lessons learned to your business!

Kevin Noble: I am a mechanical engineer turned operator and finance partner. I spent a decade helping Atlassian scale, running a 135-person enablement organization. In early 2025 I founded Group 18, where I help leaders drive predictable execution, faster decisions, and better margins.
