​This is a little bit of a different one for you.
A purely networking and exercising of the body, instead of the brain.

​Come join us as we take on Grouse Mountain.
For the average person it's a 2-2.5hr hike.
That's over 2hrs of great conversations with like-minded cloud technology people.
It's something most people have on their bucket list and if you are new to Vancouver, you'll soon find people casually brag about having done it.

​Safety

​Please read up the following page details to ensure your fitness is ok to handle this hike. It is rated as "Difficult".

If weather is not favorable, we will notify everyone on the rsvp list if it means we need to cancel.

​What to Bring?

​I would recommend you bring some snacks and at least a liter of water.

​Meeting Place?

​We will meet at 3.30pm outside the Starbucks and head off at 4pm.
I will have a small sign saying "Meetup Group"

​Schedule?

​We will set off sharply at 4pm, so please arrive at 3.30pm.
We will be at the top before 7pm.
We won't be walking at a fast pace, more a comfortable pace to still hold a bit of a conversation between puffs of breath ;-)
We will be catching the Gondola down, which will cost you $15 (there is no cost to do the Grouse Grind = the hike up)

​Transport?

​There is parking at the bottom where we will be meeting at 3.30pm.
There is also a free shuttle bus which can get you there from Canada Place, but we won't be back down in time to catch it back. However, you can also get the #236 TransLink bus (every 30mins till 9.04pm) which connects with the Seabus.
