Entrepreneurship is often talked about, but rarely explained honestly.
Is it about starting companies? Solving problems? Building community? Making an impact? Or finding your own path?
Join us for an inspiring and grounded panel conversation exploring what entrepreneurship really looks like in practice, through the lens of founders who took different journeys. From starting young, to solving complex problems, to building companies that scale and exit.
This session is designed to inspire high school students, community members, and aspiring builders by breaking down myths and sharing real lessons from the front lines. Join the kick-off event to help foster the next generation of entrepreneurs.

Sophia Millar - CEO of Sonibel Instruments, building AI solutions for manufacturing, turning early curiosity into real-world problem-solving.
Deep Prasad - CEO of StarVas. A deep-tech entrepreneur who built and exited GenMat, proving that tackling hard problems can lead to an outsized impact.
Yasmin Kahkesh - Founder of Changemakers, empowering the next generation through community-driven entrepreneurship.
Ishaan Kohli - CEO of SkyAcres, exploring how technology and innovation can create meaningful change within agriculture.
Moderated by: Aditi Kapil - Co-owner of Brightside Foods and leading TYE this year.
This Panel launches the start of the TiE Vancouver Young Entrepreneur Program, which is back in Vancouver! Grade 10-12 high school students can join the new cohort to learn how to build a real startup, work with mentors, and pitch like founders on a global stage. Join real business leaders weekly in downtown Vancouver.
