More About the Sharings
Anieyrudh will be demonstrating how to leverage readily available AI tools for instant classroom improvements. From using OpenAI GPTs to quickly prep lesson materials, to creating simple simulations with Claude Artifacts, to brainstorming ideas on your phone with Gemini - discover which tools deliver real results and how to make them work for your classroom.
Han Xian will be sharing more about Friends in Needs Navigation (FINN), an AI assistant developed by the Case Management Team (CMT) in Cantonment Primary School on AIBots, which revolutionises how Allied Educators and Education Officers plan, customise, and implement support for students with additional needs (SwANs). Learn how FINN streamlines intervention planning, balancing structured processes with personalized adaptability to enhance student support while maximizing educator efficiency.
Join Ruth as she introduces Curipod, a digital learning tool transforming Primary English Language education. Through real-time engagement features and AI-powered feedback, Curipod helps teachers create dynamic lessons while gaining actionable insights into student progress. Discover how interactive voting, open questions, word clouds, AI writing feedback and smart analytics are enabling more personalised and effective English language learning. Additionally, Curipod's AI capabilities extend to supporting essay writing, providing students with structured guidance and feedback to develop their writing skills. Beyond English, Curipod's versatile platform also supports engaging maths and science instruction, making it a comprehensive tool for cross-curricular learning.
Shiva will share how he used AI in various classes across Bachelors, Masters and Executive Education in the classroom. In some executive education classes, the results were very transformative as the students used Gen AI for the first time across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, CoPilot and solved problems in various industries and functions. In some classes especially in younger MBA students, the school provided an AI-based Student Tutor to help the student prepare for the lecture, while Shiva had access to an AI Faculty assistant to test the students based on quizzes. In some classrooms, AI was used in the group breakouts to solve problems. Shiva will discuss the pros/cons of all such situations for AI trainers.

Anieyrudh is a second-year student at the Singapore University of Technology and Design, where he leads Building 0—a student-run think tank pioneering the vision of Campus 2.0. Collaborating with faculty, researchers, and administrative staff, his team pilots AI-powered tools that are already being used across campus, reshaping what it means to learn, teach, and belong. Grounded in SUTD’s DesignAI philosophy—which treats AI as a partner in “innovation beyond human imagination”—his vision of Campus 2.0 is one where education, administration, and student life are co-created for the future.
Han Xian currently serves as Head of Department for Student Management at Cantonment Primary School, overseeing student management, leadership development, well-being, and discipline. A passionate advocate for AI in Education, Han Xian actively shares his insights and practical experiences through the SgLDC Facebook group and Virtual Meets, with a keen interest in leveraging Educational Technology and AI to develop processes and tools that enable educators to focus on higher-value activities whilst implementing and customising meaningful support for students.
Ruth Yaap is an educator at Woodlands Ring Primary School. Driven by a deep belief that technology should serve teachers rather than burden them, she explores AI tools that can genuinely lighten educators' daily workload. Ruth has created practical AI bots on AIBots, including a "Show Don't Tell" writing bot and a Grammar support bot for English, as well as a science practice questions bot to assist teachers in creating varied learning materials. She has researched how AI might potentially fit into educational frameworks like SAMR (Substitution, Augmentation, Modification, Redefinition) for future technology integration considerations. Her strong passion for e-pedagogy stems from witnessing firsthand how the right digital tools can transform both teaching experiences and student outcomes and engagement. Through her work, she hopes to trail-blaze the advancement of e-pedagogy practices across Singapore's educational landscape and beyond.
