The Favourite: Screening & Social
Sunday, March 29 · 15:30
Love cinema and crave deeper conversations with other creatives?
Ciné Club for Creatives is a new monthly gathering for people who live for stories, emotion, and the magic that happens after the credits roll.
Our next edition features The Favourite—Yorgos Lanthimos’s wickedly entertaining and visually sumptuous period drama. Set in the court of Queen Anne, the film follows the ruthless, hilarious power struggle between Lady Sarah Churchill and the cunning newcomer Abigail as they compete for the Queen’s favor.
With its razor-sharp dialogue, decadent costumes, and deliciously dark humor, The Favourite is as much about ambition, manipulation, and female power as it is about the absurd theater of court life—making it a perfect film to spark lively conversation.
