Panel 2: "Building Women's Health Solutions: From Unmet Need to First System Entry" (19:15 - 19:50)
Innovation in women’s health is accelerating, but building a solution is only the beginning. Two start-ups and one legal expert from the FemTech Germany’s community share how they are addressing critical gaps in care, from maternal health to pelvic floor health, and the different paths they are taking to build impactful, scalable companies. Complementing the founder perspective, a legal expert brings insight into how regulatory frameworks and company structures shape innovation in women’s health, from early decisions around setup to navigating complex requirements in the German healthcare environment. We explore what it really takes to build in this space: identifying meaningful problems, validating solutions, and navigating the structural and regulatory realities that influence early-stage growth. This sets the stage for the next panel, which shifts from building solutions to the critical question of which ones actually make it into the healthcare system at scale.
Moderator:
Dr Christiane Hagel, Co-Founder of FemTech Germany

Anna Maria Ullmann, Co-Founder & CEO of Yeda GmbH

Panel 3: "The Reimbursement Gap: Why 99% of Women's Health Products Never Enter the Healthcare System" (19:50 - 20:30)
Why do most women’s health innovations never reach patients? In this standout panel, leaders from BARMER, Clue, and Hello Inside pull back the curtain on what it really takes to get into the healthcare system. Expect honest insights on reimbursement, regulatory barriers, and the two proven paths to scale, plus live audience input shaping the conversation in real time. If you’re building, investing in, or supporting women’s health solutions, this is where you’ll learn what separates those that succeed from those that don’t.
