Modern blockchains are moving beyond a single block proposer. This session compares new approaches to parallel block production and concurrent proposers across protocols including Constellation, Cadence, Gatling, and others. We’ll discuss how these designs improve throughput, reduce latency, the trade-offs they introduce, and what they could mean for the next generation of blockchain architecture. We will also push on a sharper question: what does this work genuinely solve, and which open questions still matter after the paper ends?
