Intro to 3D Design: 3D Printed Vase Workshop

​Learn the basics of 3D modeling in Autodesk Fusion by designing a vase, cup, or planter for 3D printing. No previous 3D-design experience is needed.

​Before the workshop, create an Autodesk account and install Fusion using Autodesk’s education access for UC San Diego affiliates.

​Who can attend
Open to UC San Diego affiliates only, including students, staff, and faculty. These workshops are not open to the general public.

​Before you arrive
You’ll need a Sandbox account before using the makerspace. If you don’t already have one, create your Sandbox account in advance so you can spend more time making when you arrive.

​If your plans change
Our workshops fill quickly, and places are limited. Please register only if you expect to attend, and cancel your Luma registration as soon as you know you can’t make it. That gives another member of the UC San Diego community a chance to participate.
