Foil Embossing with Lahore Heritage Club x Sukoon Space
Celebrate the visual language of Lahore’s historic streets and architectural ornamentation in this joyful foil embossing workshop, facilitated by Lahore Heritage Club, whose work has been shaped by years of research, storytelling, and cultural guidance rooted in the city’s heritage.
Inspired by Lahore’s jaalis, ornamental arches, frescoed surfaces, mosque interiors, and garden motifs, this hands-on session invites participants to explore texture, pressure, and pattern through metallic foil and simple embossing tools. Lahore’s visual culture serves as both reference and inspiration, reflecting traditions passed down through generations of South Asian art and design. Participants will work with Mughal floral and geometric motifs, learning how historic forms translate into contemporary craft practice.
This session is a sensory and reflective making experience; an invitation into slow craft, creative play, and cultural memory. Participants are encouraged to engage with heritage not as something static or distant, but as something felt through the hands.
